🚧 The hurdles in electrifying heavy haulage are many. The trucks themselves no longer count among them. Beyond the shift in operations, in dispatch and processes, one topic dominates my conversations with operators: charging infrastructure, the kind in their own depot above all.
🔌 The grid connection was never meant for a fleet charging all at once overnight. Grid expansion takes months and costs serious money. And demand charges per kW pour in on top.
